Tea Time in Birmingham!

Birmingham has become a favourite haunt when the weather may be inclement or the days short in the Winter. It is only about 18 miles away from Coventry too - just down the road in fact!

Fat Jackets in the Food Hall of The Pavillions Shopping Centre

Nothing is more fun than, after a potter around the magnificent shopping centre, including the newly revamped Bull Ring Shopping Centre, to have a nice cup of tea and jacket potato in Fat Jackets, a food outlet on the top floor of The Pavilions Shopping Mall.

We were delighted to notice that this food hall was completely non-smoking even before the smoking ban came into force.

I, Sarah just HAVE to go for the egg mayonnaise filling every time we visit!

The fillings are very generous too.

Next

Andrew always goes for the chilli and cheese filling!

Again the filling is very generous too!

Our award (see below) HAS to be the full five teapots.

Even the toilets are close at hand and clean too!

All in all a complete winner after a busy shopping time!

Caveat: Our guide is based on our own personal experience/snapshot of a cafe/teashop/restaurant at the time of visiting.  No inference therefore can be taken that the level of service we received on the times visiting was either standard or average.
