We are not QUITE sure what this activity is all
about..........various theories have been put to us by other tiel' owners
including the possibility that beak banging is a way the male bird discovers if
there is a good hole in a tree for nesting. Others suggest it is a form of
proclaiming territorial ownership............but we hardly worry WHY Pebbles
does it............we just enjoy the performance.........

Pebbles has discovered that, when the lid of our laptop in our living
room is down, beak banging is a great form of entertainment. He
also even does it at command...........whilst joining in with my "come on".....
