Blackwood Tea Rooms is situated along the Great
Ocean Road between Lavers Hill and the Twelve Apostles. We came upon it
with great delight. We dined on a much enjoyed toasted chicken sandwich
and pot of tea (well of course!) and then were transported to birdie heaven by
the sight of the many rosellas and grass parrots flocking in from the
nearby forest to feed on the bird tables provided outside.
We just HAVE to give this venue full marks. The restaurant was great,
food great, service great..........and the avian
visitors.........well.......words can't express :-)
Caveat:
Our guide is based on our own personal experience/snapshot of a
cafe/teashop/restaurant at the time of visiting. No inference therefore
can be taken that the level of service we received on the times visiting was
either standard or average.
