Ross Brady

Ross started out at Linlithgow after enjoying considerable success in junior moto cross. He always had a reputation for fast gating and fast starting. He did have problems negotiating the tight Heathersfield track and decided on a move to Peterborough. The bigger track enabled him to build confidence riding in the Conference League.

Last year Ross had a few Premier League meetings for Peterborough before going on loan to Mildenhall in the Conference League while riding for Peterborough in the Youth Development League. Later in the season he made a few guest appearances for Berwick in the Premier League. Berwick did try to sign him but this was blocked by Peterborough to stop him completing six Premier League meetings and getting a green sheet average. The way Ross was going at the time he could have ended up with an average of over 5.00 as compared to his current assessed average of 3.00.

Ross was probably the most sought after young rider in the Premier League. Workington, Berwick, and Newcastle were all chasing his signature. He opted to sign for Edinburgh on loan in order to improve his riding on small tracks.

Date of birth: 17/2/81, Winchburgh.
