A mystery Armadale regular supporter came forward with the sponsorship needed to secure the return of Robert Eriksson.
John Campbell confirming that Eriksson had now accepted terms said he was delighted that the Swede was returning to his 'rightfull home':
"What has transpired over the last few days is that Robert is 100 per cent an Edinburgh man. Unfortunately James Grieves doesn't fall into that category. And given some of the comments I've heard from him since his move, Glasgow is where he feels he really belongs."
"Robert would never have left Edinburgh had the choice been his. But sometimes you have to make harsh decisions when you plan your teams and we simply couldn't fit Robert into our side last year."
Robert Eriksson said:
"I'm happy with the terms I've been offered and I'm glad to be rejoining Monarchs. I love the Armadale track and feel I'm well capable of doing the job required of me."
