Monarchs Target Robert Eriksson

Edinburgh Monarchs have targetted their asset Robert Eriksson to fill the no.1 racejacket in 2000. Monarchs Co-Promoter John Campbell said:

"I've been speaking to Robert for a number of days now and he is keen to come back to us. However, we have not yet been able to agree a deal. As a Club we have reached our limit on how much we are prepared to offer Robert and I have promised Robert that I will attempt to find a sponsor to make up the difference. We're talking hundreds rather than thousands of pounds and I would be pleased to hear from anyone who can offer assistance."

Eriksson last rode for the Monarchs in 1997 when he had the highest home average round Armadale of over 10.50. If he can regain that form and match his away average of 1999 which was the ninth highest in the Premier League and above any Monarch that season he could make a big impact in 2000.
