Monarchs Aim To Bounce Back

Edinburgh captain, Kevin Little said that the disappointment of losing the national Trophy Final to Newport would make them even more determined to win the Cup against Arena Essex this weekend.

Little commented:

"We didn't really do anything wrong. Newport are a solid side who were on top form. Holding such a slender lead from the Armadale match, it was always going to be prove very difficult."

"And considering we are still not at full strength we did well to rn them so close. However losing this final has made us more determined to win our second Cup Final this weekend. We are totally focussed to achieve this and hopefully we can give the fans something shout about."

Kevin will have a new engine for the Cup Final on Friday. After his poor display at Reading he certainly needs some more speed.

Monarchs heat-leader James Grieves said: "It would be great for us to win the cup after missing out on the Premier National Trophy and the league. "It shows we're a good side because we've been up there all season and I think we deserve to win something."
