Edinburgh have drawn Newport in the Second Round of the Premier League Cup. The home leg of the tie will not be held on the reserved date of July 16th because Newport are due at Armadale in Premier League match the following week. It is possible that the League Match could be redesignated as a Cup game but there is no agreement to date.
The holders Reading have drawn one of the favourites, Sheffield. Arena Essex meet Swindon while Berwick take on Exeter unless Workington pull off a miracle in their second leg.
