The first set of Green Sheet Averages for the Premier League have been published by the British Speedway Promoters Association. These became effective on Friday 30th April.
The teams involved are Exeter, Newcastle, Sheffield, and Stoke. They were presumably the only teams to have completed three home and three away matches by the qualifying date for the new averages.
Edinburgh and the other teams will have Green Sheets available by the next round. Until then the Monarchs' team structure will remain. As things stand, Ross Brady is due to move up to heat leader and Stewart McDonald to reserve. This could change before the next set of averages are published.
Of those published to date, no major changes are involved except that Edinburgh asset Paul Gould has moved up to heat leader for Newcastle in place of David Walsh who drops to second string.
The latest Green Sheet Averages are listed team in the three Premier National Trophy groups. Averages given in brackets signify that the rider concerned has not competed sufficient matches to qualify for an new average. In such cases the initial Green Sheet Average has been retained.
