Blair Scott picked up the Speedway Star Premier League Rider of the Week award. This was in recognition of his paid ten points from four rides against Berwick and his fifteen point maximum in the British Under-21 Championship Semi-Final at Workington.
This is the second time a Monarchs rider has picked up the award in the three weeks that it has been run. Ross Brady won the award two weeks ago.
The other winner was former Monarchs reserve and Armadale YDL stalwart Steven Jones of Newcastle. Jones may not be riding for Monarchs this season and was never a Monarchs asset but he certainly developed after his experience with Edinburgh and Armadale last year from a four point Conference League rider to a good Premier League reserve.
