Monarchs have clinched a new sponsorship deal with Century Mortgages only weeks after the previous arrangement with Ziebart was terminated.
Century Mortgages are the largest independent mortgage brokers in the UK. The deal was promoted by Century's Regional Sales Director Alan Budzynski after meeting John Campbell at the Scottish Motorcycle Show.
Budzynski was a Cradley Heath fanatic as a youth and raced second halves at Shawfield almost ten years ago. He commented:
"I approached John Campbell at the Scottish Motorcycle Show because I heard that Ziebart had pulled out. He said that Monarchs were still looking for a sponsor so together with Brian Norland who is a director of a subsidiary company and is also a speedway fanatic, we got hold of our MD at a dinner and persuaded him that we would support Monarchs!"
Monarchs' chairman Alex Harkess commented:
"We are delighted to have Century Mortgages on board. After losing Ziebart this is terrific news for club."
