Inaccurate reports in the Monday morning's press suggested that Edinburgh Monarchs had agreed that their 20 year-old rider Blair Scott could go out on loan next season if he can find a club.

This arose from a misheard comment and is wrong. Blair has expressed an interest in going out on loan next season to widen his experience but there have been no talks about it, and it is too early to say whether Monarchs will agree, or ask Blair to remain at Armadale for 2001.
