Fixture changes

There are some more fixture changes as a consequence of rain-offs and matches cancelled due to the fuel crisis.

Edinburgh should complete their home Premier League programme with the restaged match against Exeter on Friday 22nd September. This leaves just one Premier League match, away to Sheffield, still to be staged. No dates have been confirmed as yet. Sheffield have a home match against Hull on Thursday 21st September. The only available Thursday before the end of the month deadline is Thursday 28th.

The home and away legs of the Scottish Cup originally scheduled for the end of September have been brought forward. The Ashfield leg has been arranged for Sunday 24th September and the return leg at Armadale on Friday 29th September.

The first three Fridays in October are reserved for possible Young Shield fixtures. Monarchs are now guaranteed a top-eight finish and may indeed still finish in the top-four. Monarchs' opponents in the first round of the Young Shield will be known in early October.
