Edinburgh Monarchs are delighted to announce this week our new sponsorship tie-up with the prestigious Edinburgh radio station Forth AM, who will be providing valuable advertising and coverage of our events. Talks have been taking place recently, and have reached this successful conclusion. Speedway regulars will of course be aware that one of the prime movers in the tie-up is our much respected meeting presenter Scott Wilson who of course is one of the top DJs on Forth-AM, as well as a presenter of other sports events. Scott has become a speedway fan as well as our presenter since his first involvement with the club in March 1997.
Monarchs' promoter Alex Harkess said "Our relations with Forth AM through Scott have always been excellent and we are very pleased to have come to this formal arrangement. It will be a pleasure to carry the name of the radio station."
Monarchs will race their first match as the Forth AM Monarchs this Friday (18th) against the Isle of Wight Islanders in the Premier League (start time 7.30pm).
