I am fed up with the Spice Girls, I am fed up with high tech camera's, I am fed up with Stoke.

First the Spice Girls, or as they are known in our house "Them again.". Just how does one go through an evening in watching the telly without catching sight or listening to them? I am fed up getting them (and what ever it is they selling) rammed down my throat by a media that treats the public like shmucks.

Blondie, now that's a proper girl singer, good looking, good songs, good voice, not over exposed.

High tech camera's are getting up my nose as well. I love the nature programs, best thing on TV. but with this high tech stuff suddenly you are right in there watching every slavering and bloody mouthful, complete with the slurp slurp sound effects when one creature devours another.

I'm trying to eat my cornbeef sandwich and at the same time I'm watching, zoomed up by one million, a preying mantis suck the yellow pulsating flesh out of a still moving cockroach. And I dare not turn it over in case I bump into the Spice 'here we are again' Girls.

Stoke, don't mention Stoke. I spent a weekend designing the badges backdrop on our website (by the way we won website of the week because of the art work - no joke and yes I am boasting). Anyway, on the trial run Stoke's colour scheme of yellow & blue clashed with Coventry's colours (they were too close to each other). I had to come home, do it again, go back to Portobello where the website is and reload it.

Then I discover that Stoke, the same Stoke who stole Les Collins from us have changed their colours back to red and white.

They should take the Spice Girls, dress them up in Stoke's colours, what ever they are that week and film them super zoomed being eaten by a slurp slurp praying mantis.
