Bene-Dorme is situated in a quiet area of BAKEWELL just short level walk, approximately 500 metres, to the centre of the town.
Bakewell is a pleasant market town with a cattle market every Monday.
Walks are available from the door or alternatively local buses run from the town centre.

Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall near by. Wonderful walks in Dove Dale, Monsall Dale, Lathkill Dale and in the heart of the beautiful Derbyshire Dales, Bakewell, is the only town in the Peak District National Park.

Eyam is renowned for its attempts in 1665 to contain the plague within the village. Other pretty Peakland villages, Alport, Milldale, Hartington and Bonsall are nearby.

The Peak District is 555 square miles with 1,600 miles of walks, and most of it can be accessed within 45 minutes from
Bene-Dorme including the Staffordshire moorlands home to the pretty village of Longnor and interesting rock formations of The Roaches, the High Peak areas like Edale, Mam Tor, Blue John Mines and Castleton and the beautiful Goyt Valley above Buxton.
